Week 3 Term 4

This week we done...

Athletics: WE done athletics for about 4 - 5 hours and it was tormenting I have very sore legs.

Tests: we done maths reading and writing test .

Maths: I done Adding and Subtracting decimals. .-.

Writing: Test .-.

Reading: Test .-.

 They were still cool though.

On Tuesday I finished my calendar art

Writing

In writing we have been reading and writing about what happens to us when we sleep. Miss Power gave us 3 links to look out to gain information and put it into our own words, I'll share on of my paragraphs with you now. We discussed different keys of information with each other.

Week 1 T4

Damn.. Back to school, Oh well this week we done,

Maths: We added and subtracted negative numbers and also we done division.

Writing: We have made out an explanation on "How to be a good friend" it was stressing.

Topic: We had Madeline come in and talk to us about devices at high school and don't feed the trolls... Example

Country study

For topic we have been doing Country Study. My country is a small country in the Caribbean called Grenada its known for it's spices and amazing beach called "Grande Anse" 


It's flag has a description about the country. The red means courage and the yellow means wisdom and warmth and a bit of green for vegetation, The left green triangle features a small nutmeg, the gold stars represents the capital St. George.

Term 3, Week 6 Reflection

This week in class we have been...

Making nets in maths of different shapes such as a rectangle. In maths Miss Power called up me Brayden, Nina and Sam in this group I learnt more about the Clarifying and Predicting in maths.

In reading we have been going to the library every Wednesday whether you issue a book or just read one we also have been doing activity's in the library where we need to find different books from the Dewey decimal system.

In art we have been doing our tie dye t-shirts mine is... Well it's Different but I still had a lot of fun making it.

For Topic we have been doing our Country Study my country study is on a small country in the Caribbean called Grenada it is mostly known for its amazing beach and spices.

W6 Reflection

In Week 6 we done a mixture of things...

We had our first experience of life without money back in the day i was a tattooist hehe.

We had to trade our belongings in for more useless stuff :)

Maths. In Maths We done the same ol weekly revision and set tasks

Prep. In Prep we made paper products such as. Ninja Stars, Kunai's, Etc. We made a total of $570 I think.

Byron's Birthday. Byron had his 13th birthday :D

Poems. I wrote a shared poem with about WW2 going through Suicide Forest in Japan.

In Week 4 we done Availl we we watched holes with subtitles and have to wright down the line after  Miss Hines pauses.

We also have mainly been working on our poem "Didgeridoo"

That's been week 4

Week 9 Reflection

This week we done HEAPS of work..

For a start we done PreP and made things outta paper like paper claws and ninja stars

The claws were a big hit!

PreP is fun but stressing heres my group 

This week at tech we done nothing me and Saxon went back to school because our re leaver doesn't know anything

This week i was most proud of my work in maths with Reid "Finding a fraction of an amount"
It was hard but we managed to work out all of it :)

W7 Reflection

This week we done a mixture of things.

Every day we do our speed skills for 5 mins

Black is like a black hole in the middle of the universe.

Descriptive piece

     

*Slurp* Im here sipping this chilled drink on this beach the sand is as hot as lava. Im looking out at the clear teal blue water it’s refreshing under these palm trees. I am putting my feet in this  sulfur like water it’s so good to put my head under the water it’s like being in a sulfur pool at the top of a mountain on a cold winter day. It’s time to get some lunch im eating a big container of ice cream and then suddenly it gets cold like ice I see a waterspout heading my way so i start to run it comes onto the shore and im getting  pulled into it I guess this what paradise is like in my dreams.

Creative Writing

WALT: Write a piece of descriptive writing.
Success Criteria

WALT: Try make the reader feel like they are curious cove we chose something interesting to write about from Curious Cove. Here's my piece of writing, hope you enjoy.





As we feel the adrenaline pumping in our veins begging to stop walking up mount kahikatea. I hate the crunching sound of the leaves and the buzzing of the wasps Im trying to keep up with Byron but my legs feel like they are cracking. 400 METERS TO GO the sweet sound of 400 meters is like ice cream but it’s in my head as I try look for a Sasquatch in the bush I yell in my head SASQUATCH but then I realize it was a tree. 200 meters I feel like my legs are playdoh or gelatin. Im trying not to run back down Im tempted too because I can’t take no more it’s like a grenade about to blow up and a different kind of pain. We are here yay finally 640 meters above sea level time for photos. Okay time to head back down as my feet feel like they are rock hard Im ready 5 mins later im  tired. How are we meant to get down this it’s so fast it’s like a Lamborghini and  a Bugatti veyron combined ahh wait we are here yay i'd say that's job well done.
